A space big enough to serve a large number of guests while maintaining a homey, intimate feel is an interior design challenge. Now imagine that the clients served are critically ill children and their families and the challenge becomes even more difficult. Dickinson Interiors rose to the challenge at Augusta’s new Ronald McDonald House, creating a light, airy space with residential touches like a stone fireplace focal point, accents in red, kid-friendly murals and giant blocks so patients would know that this was their space.
