In 2013, Dickinson Architects was commissioned to provide architectural and interior design services for the new Murphey Middle School. Nestled in the heart of the T.W. Josey High School campus, the new middle school is an 51,246 square foot two-story classroom and lab facility with a new commons space that binds the two schools together. The contemporary aesthetics of school’s façade provide a fresh expression for the surrounding community. Renovations to the existing kitchen and cafeteria of T. W. Josey High School accommodate the new surge of students.
