In 2011, Dickinson Architects provided designs for the renovation and rehabilitation of the historic Crawford Depot and surrounding grounds to house the Oglethorpe County Chamber of Commerce. The 7,574 square foot project included new plumbing, electrical, and climate control systems. Additionally, the building received a new roof, renovations to the kitchen, paint, window and door repair, restroom renovations, and provisions for handicap accessibility. This project was funded by a TE Grant through the Georgia Department of Transportation. In 2016, the Crawford Depot was chosen to receive the Excellence in Rehabilitation Award from the Georgia Historic Trust.
