A proposal that hasn't come to construction fruition (yet), the Augusta Performing Arts Center was inspired by both the specifics of a site on the banks of the Savannah River and the function it must fulfill. The facade was inspired by sheet music and the incorporation of brightly colored banners by the constant movement of the river below.
