This community center in the Harlem-Grovetown area (just outside of Augusta, Georgia) is half of a two building development designed by Nicholas Dickinson & Associates for the Columbia County Board of Commissioners. The Bessie Thomas Health and Community Center serves two purposes. Half the structure functions as a community center while the other is a health care center. The health care center includes three examination rooms, a pharmacy, an immunization room, a vision/hearing room, a laboratory, medical offices and a records storage area.
