Dickinson Architects provided architectural, programming, and contract administration services for the $15,000,000 Joint Law Enforcement Center in Augusta, Georgia. The six story facility includes a kitchen, cafeteria, laundry, gym, 3 court rooms, judge's chambers, booking and holding areas, evidence storage, control rooms, exercise yards, nurses station and has expansion capability. It features a high-rise detention tower in response to a restrictive site and the need for minimum prisoner movement and staffing. |
